The Geological Clock - an interactive Travel through Earth's history

The age of the Earth is about 4.600 million years. The Geological Clock shows this time as a 12-hour-day. One hour represents 383 million years, one minute 6.3 million years. At midnight our planet formed from the dust of the solar nebula, and the present day is at noon.

Catastrophic events are part of the normal development of the Earth and cause many changes on its surface. For example, during the last 500 million years the Carnic Alps drifted around half of the globe.

Start the DVD at your PC and go on an interactive journey through time. The scientific accompanying text of this brochure provides background information.
